Yesterday, Xandra from TwirlingPages and I adventured
into the heart of Los Angeles to The Last Bookstore!

After two hours and many photos, we 
walked to Pressed Freeze Juicery for dessert. Xan got a matcha freeze with raspberries, almond slices, and almond butter drizzle. I got a vanilla and chocolate swirl freeze (bc I’m basic AF) with strawberries, coconut shavings, and almond butter drizzle. It’s the perfect dessert because you feel zero guilt after eating it since it’s basically frozen juice. 10/10 would recommend. 💕
Since we were essentially eating our meal in reverse, we took a Lyft to By Chloe for lunch. If you haven’t heard of By Chloe, it’s a super popular vegan restaurant in LA and NYC. They sell all things from burgers to pasta to cupcakes.
We each got a Quinoa Taco Bowl and shared Mac-n-Cheese, Avocado Pesto Pasta, and Loaded Sweet Potato Fries. 15/10 recommend. 😍 If I could each this every day, I would.
Catching up with old friends is one of my favorite things to do when I’m back from college. I loved being able to explore my home city with one of my closest friends.

England, UK. 😛 there’s only two book stores in my local area and their quiet mainstream stores so nothing quirky like that.
