College has started again, and one of my biggest worries is that I’ll end up leaving book blogging and reading on the backburner. 🙁 It’s super easy for me to get overwhelmed by exams and extracurriculars, but truthfully, my blog has really become my escape.💕📚
Blogging is something just for myself. I can share my passion without worries of seeming weird or dorky. I can fangirl about books I love, characters I identify with, and authors who inspire me. My friends in the book community see this side of me I don’t normally share with others because they understand my joy. They’ve felt it themselves– they love reading just as much as me. My worries stem from me taking too long to write a post and not having enough down time to read. After speaking to other book bloggers, I’ve decided my plan for this semester:
- Finish my weekly posts on Friday, so they are ready to be posted throughout the week. Luckily, I only have one class on Fridays (9AM-10AM), so I’ll be awake the rest of the day. This is the perfect opportunity to be writing posts before I’m drowning in work during the weekend. 😉
- Find time throughout the day to read. Everyone has the same 24 hours in a day. It all comes down to how we choose to spend it. The time I spend wandering on Youtube or literally just sitting around could be spent reading, instead.
My personal goal for this semester is to remain active on my blog and Twitter. It’s pretty vague because it’s meant to be. Currently, I want to post twice a week, but realistically, it’ll probably be once a week. Still, if I can meet this goal, my reward is that I can move my blog to self-hosted WordPress! I hope you stick along with me on my journey~

I think you’ve got a very doable plan!
