Monthly Wrap-Up: February 2018

Feb-ru-ary is OVER! Sorry for the late(ish) monthly wrap-up 🙈 It was midterm season for college, or should I say Midterm Month? I literally had two exams every week since the beginning of the month!! But it’s all okay because I’m finally done 🎉 tenor.gif

IN REAL LIFE

Besides having to battle exams left and right, February was overall a fun and inspiring month. 💖 I took a Little for my business fraternity (who I absolutely ADORE), and my Christian club had our yearly banquet.

I also signed my first apartment lease yesterday!! 🔑 Technically, it falls under March, but it was too exciting not to share. 🎉 As rising juniors, my suitemates and I had the last pick for on-campus housing spots, so we decided the best/cheapest/nicest option was to go off-campus. #adulting

ON BOOKS

I’ve read a total of *drumroll* TWO books! 📚 It’s definitely much lower than the 6 books I read in January, but realistically, it’s what I was able to handle without overwhelming myself. I’m still 5 books ahead on my Goodreads challenge, so it’s all good! 😉

I finished American Panda the week it was released, and I listened to The Sun is Also a Star as an audiobook throughout the rest of February. 🐼🎧

ON THE BLOG

I hit 350 followers on Twitter and 133 on WordPress. 😱 That’s 148 friends!! #mathgiphyYes, I know many of those are repeat people. And yes, I know it’s super weird for me to actually list numbers, but it’s just incredibly cool for me to see how far I’ve grown in one month! It’s all thanks to you guys. 😍

  1. I am glad you overall had a nice month 🙂 Sometimes it is okay to read less and enjoy and focus on other things especially when there are things like exams 😀 And guess what I too read The Sun is Also A Star recently and loved it. What’s your thought?
And I so wanted to read American Panda but well… I wasn’t approved for the ARC 😦

Congratulations on getting the house lease. Are you going to live with your friends? I think that would be fun 😀

My February was too bad as I was in a reading slump 😦 I hope March is better for both of us 🙂

    1. Oh no!! I hope your reading slump is better this month 😢It really sucks when we can’t enjoy books.

I thought The Sun is Also a Star was super cute! I was kinda iffy about the whole instalove aspect of it…but I really appreciate that it dived into how each individual has a life we don’t know about and their own identity/struggles.

Yup! We got approved for an apartment, so we’re super excited. 😍We’re already coordinating what items to bring, our meal prepping, etc. I’m super pumped!

Thanks so much for stopping by!! I really love your blog, so I’m really grateful you spent the time to look at mine too 🙂

  2. Yay for finishing midterms and getting your own place! My February was okay, but I didn’t reach the personal goals that I had set for myself. Hopefully March will be my month to shine!

      1. I’ll probably wait a few months for it to be in the sale or something 😛
But I agree, I’ve heard good things about the representation that’s for sure! 😀

  6. Sounds like you had a great month. American panda is one of the books I so want to read. My February was okay, went by in a flash but was fun. This March is turning out to be stressful though. Great post

      1. Exams are coming up and the lecturers have started fixing tests for us so I’m reading a lot of school books and trying to catch up. But it’s all good.

  7. OH it sounds like you had a lovely month – and congratulations on the apartment, yay for adulting! It’s scary and annoying, at times, yet these little accomplishments like getting your apartment keys are amazing, so go, you!! ❤
I actually ordered American Panda just the other day, I couldn't resist, I can't WAIT to read it 🙂 x
Thank you so, so much for sharing my post! I hope you're having a wonderful March! ❤ ❤

Buts its no where near as good as yours!! How do you add the little gifs into your posts?? I’m new to this so im not all that great yet…
I love how you also give a little roundup on everything that has happened during the month, and sharing other blog posts too. Damn, such a good idea, i must do this next month instead of just talking about books all the time!!

    Thank you so much! xx
