It’s Sunday night which means my Spring Break has come to an end! 🌸 The only books I’ll be cracking open now are my textbooks. 😢 (JK college textbooks are a scam)
This past week was my university’s spring break, so I flew back home to Los Angeles where it was raining #salty. 🌧️ Since I had an excuse to stay indoors, I binged SO MANY BOOKS. 
In the end, I read a total of *drumroll* 7 books! 🎉 I finished the Throne of Glass series by Sarah J Mass and Just Listen by Sarah Dessen. 
The Throne of Glass series was absolutely amazing. 11/10 would recommend. 🌟 The first two books are good, but once you hit Book 3 (Heir of Fire) things get insane in the best way possible. I’m currently in my book mourning phase after finishing Book 5 (Empire of Storms), so check out my Tumblr for all the latest TOG memes. Just Listen by Sarah Dessen was the perfect short and sweet contemporary book I needed in between the Throne of Glass madness/darkness. 💕 Book reviews and discussions to come. 👀
I also watched Love, Simon! My friends and I bought Oreos to eat during the movie. We also got the mini cup Oreos and milk (almond milk though) to eat like Simon and his friends did in the book.

You should definitely read it!! It’s long, but you have so much time before the final book is out 😍The first two books are mehh, but the series gets SO MUCH BETTER with each book~

Thanks!! I only managed because it was Spring Break, and I didn’t have to worry about school or anything 😂 Otherwise, I definitely wouldn’t be able to read 7 books in a month!

LOL the only reason I was able to finish the books was because it was Spring Break!! Otherwise, I don’t even think I could finish 1 book a week 😛

Just saying girl, don’t mourn the series just yet. It’s not finished haha in case you didn’t know. There’s Tower of Dawn which follows Chaol and cmae out last year. It was originally a novella but got turned into well…a full length book. But I still count it as a novella because of how the UK editions are colour coded. Assassins Blade was blue, the other books in the series are white and Tower of Dawn is also blue. So I count it as a novella still. BUT on goodreads it does come up as book 6 in the series. And then there’s book 7 to come out still. It says it’s due to come out this year in October soooo. I’ll leave the goodreads link to it below for you 🙂 But congrats on getting so much reading done and I also love Sarah Dessen’s books

(BTW I’ve only read until ToG #3, but I agree that the books get better–book 1 was such a snoozefest for me, then the next 2 were really good.)

I only read it all because it was spring break!! The Sarah Dessen book was so cute and sweet~ It was so needed after all the intensity of TOG

I need to continue with ToG series but I need to reread the first book first before I can continue, as it’s been such a long time and I already forget a lot about it! I love Sarah Dessen’s books, they are my perfect summer books!

I stopped right after the first book because it took me so long to find the second book edition that matched mine 😀 I highly recommend the truth about forever ❤
