1. How many books are too many books in a series?
If I really love a series, I want the books to never end. 🙈 I would say between 3 to 6 books is the perfect number. I like knowing that my children favorite characters are doing okay, and I especially love it when they make cameos in the author’s other books.
2. How do you feel about cliffhangers?
Hmm, it’s definitely a love/hate relationship. I hate having to wait for the next book because I’m just in agony thinking about all the possibilities. On the other hand, a good cliffhanger keeps me wanting more. Plus, I think it shows an author’s talent in writing. 
3. Hardback or paperback?
Ebook📱📚 BUT! Since that’s not an answer, I’d go with hardback. I’m not super picky about either, but I love that I can use the book jacket as a bookmark for hardback books. 😂
4. Favorite book?
What kind of question is this? How can I even choose?? If I really had to pick, I’d narrow it down to these…

I don’t hate a lot of books, and I don’t necessarily hate this one either. It was just extremely hard for me to get into. I felt that it was just droning on forever without the plot really moving forward. The romance was too cringe for me, and I wasn’t a fan of the characters or writing. Full review rant here.
6. Love triangles, yes or no?
💯 I know it’s such an annoying trope for some people, but I am such a sucker for a good love triangle. The (good) angst, the character development, the jealousy and other emotions–I live for it.
7. The most recent book you just couldn’t finish?
I have been trying so hard to read Magnus Chase and the Gods of Asgard by Rick Riordan, but I just can’t seem to get into it. He’s not as cool as Percy Jackson! His narration isn’t as funny! I want my favorite Seaweed Brain back. 😠
8. A book you’re currently reading?
I am currently listening to the audiobook for Cinder by Marissa Meyer. It’s a little tough to get into so far, but hopefully, I can stick through it because I’ve heard her other books in the series are really great. Plus, I love Disney!
9. Last book you recommended to someone?
I definitely think The Hate U Give by Angie Thomas is a book that everyone should read. It’s incredibly powerful and relevant to our world today. The characters and their lives are not perfect nor easy, but Angie Thomas does an incredible job of showcasing the stories of each individual through Starr, the protagonist.
10. Oldest book you’ve read? (publication date)
Took a quick look at my Goodreads, and it turns 
out to be the classic…Romeo and Juliet by William Shakespeare. I read this book in high school, but I never realized how old it was–published in 1597. 😱
11. Newest book you’ve read? (publication date)
Another one of my favorite reads this year! Emergency Contact by Mary HK Choi was published on May 27, 2018. It’s filled with loveable characters with an even cuter relationship/friendship that develops. Check out my full review here!
12. Favorite author?
Ahhh! I love so many though! I’d probably narrow it down to Cassandra Clare, Sarah J Maas, Rick Riordan, and Richelle Mead.
13. Buying books or borrowing books?
I would love to buy all my books, but I definitely borrow most of them. I know I spend a lot of money in other areas of my life–school and food–so I try my best to borrow most books through my library’s digital catalog on Overdrive. It sucks because I’m usually behind on the latest releases, but if there’s an author I really love and want to support, I’d buy their book 100%. 
14. A book you dislike that everyone else seems to love?
My answer is definitely 
American Panda by Gloria Chao. I was so frustrated by this book. I had such high expectations and was so excited to read a book that represented my culture, but the story just fell flat. The pacing was horrible, and certain aspects of the book were too over-the-top. Full review here. #sorrynotsorry
15. Bookmarks or dog-ears?
Bookmarks…except I don’t even use real bookmarks. When I read on my Kindle, the past is automatically saved. If I’m reading a paperback, I typically just use a random post-it note. With a hardcover book, I use the book jacket as a bookmark to save my page! 🤓
16. A book you can always reread?
I’d definitely have to say The Golden Lily by Richelle Mead. This is the 2nd book in the Bloodlines series. I love this book SO MUCH! It’s one of my go-to books whenever I need a pick-me-up. Sydney and Adrian always brighten my day, and this book, especially, is extra amazing because we see them slowly fall for each other. At the same time, we get amazing, kick-ass action. What more could you ask for?
17. Can you read while hearing music?
It honestly depends on how invested I am in the book. 🎧 Typically, I am able to listen to instrumentals or non-English songs (AKA K-pop) while reading because my mind is able to concentrate without thinking about singing the words. 
18. One POV or multiple POVS?
I’m not picky about either! With one POV, I get really invested with the narrator, and I see the entire world through their eyes. With multiple POVs, I usually pick one character that I love the most out of the group, but I still enjoy understanding their inner thoughts and backstory.
19. Do you read a book in one sitting or over multiple days?
Ideally, I would read it in one sitting, but realistically, it’s over multiple days. I usually don’t have the attention span to sit through an entire book. I always need to move around whether it’s grabbing a snack or going to pee–I always find an excuse to stretch my legs and rest my eyes.

Yes to the awesomely written love triangle! It really does work, just has to be less cringey I guess haha and lucky you for being able to read with K-pop, I used to but then I started kind of understanding a bit of the language so now I just listen lol

Right?? I think love triangles shouldn’t get as much hate as they currently do 🙊I think I’m starting to understand or memorize the lyrics to K-Pop sooooooo that’s becoming a problem LOL

Right! I’ve seen terrible love triangles and the favorite love triangle has to be the Infernal Devices one. It doesn’t matter if it’s Team Will or Team Jem, since they both win

I loved all your answers! And I ADORE love triangles, I think it’s my favorite book trope (IF done right, I’ve read my share of bad ones too haha). I used to use the hardback covers as bookmarks too but felt guilty so I’ve switched to bookmarks. I can only listen to instrumental music while reading a book, anything with lyrics is too distracting.

I love your responses! They were so relatable and interesting. 💕 And haha I get what you mean about the Magnus Chase series; Percy will always be my first favorite book character; no one can ever measure up to his sarcasm, funniness, and likeable-ness. But I hope you can manage to get through the first book of the series! I personally thought the second book and the third book were much better than the first. ☺️

What?? Last Olympian > Battle Labyrinth 😂 Rick riordan just ends the series SOOOO PERFECTLY 😍 I think I might give Magnus Chase another chance but it’s just not as good?? Same thing with the Egyptian series 😕 it’s not just as fun or interesting

Yay I’m so happy you did this tag, I loved reading your answers 🙂 I’m just like you about cliffhangers, I sort of have a love/hate relationship with them. I think a great cliffhanger is a sign of a great writer, too 🙂
And favorite book, Six of Crows! You’d be very happy to know that I will read it very soon haha, I can’t wait, even if I am very nervous about it.

They’re so good, but they’re so painful 💔Ahhh I really hope you like Six of Crows ❤ It's just full of amazing plot twists 🙂 Cinder is pretty good so far! I like that it's similar to the Disney tale but has its own spin~ I'll definitely keep you updated ^_^

Awww that’s too bad about The Darkest Mind. I bought it and I tried to read the first chapter and it felt like it lacked a mature voice. These answers were all so interesting! I enjoyed reading this tag 🙂

Same here! I just don’t like Magnus Chase and the Gods of Asgard as well!! It is NOT as funny and interesting as Percy Jackson! The jokes are sort of ‘dry’ in Magnus Chase! I reallllly want more Percy Jackson books!😬

I’ve only listened to Cinder & Winter on audio (I read the others physically) but the series definitely picks up after book 1! Cinder can be a bit harder to get into but as soon as the characters start to meet the plot picks up, the series gets a lot better and the books are so much more fun!

Ooo thanks for letting me know! I’m almost done with Cinder, but it still isn’t the most interesting? tbh Cinder feels just average? I want to continue the series, so I’m hoping that it gets better in the later books.

It gets way better. Trust me, I have the whole Marissa Meyer on shelf. Scarlet, Cress and Winter are so good including the novella about Levana. Wires and Nerve is the loveable side-kick with Kinney’s love to hate relationship with Iko.
Cinder is obviously about Cinder and her everyday life.
Scarlett is about the red headed Scarlet who’s not afraid to shoot you. Meets a guy named Wolf, meanwhile Cinder is freeing herself from prison with another fugitive.
Cress is about a girl stuck on the satitlite, Wolf, Scarlet, Cinder and Thorne rescues her, mission goes aiwire.
Winter is about Winter, the final peice in bringing Levana down. The book is an epic conclusion with action and a very well done action.

The series has definitely grown on me! I finished the four book plus Fairest. Now, I’m reading Stars Above 🙂

such a fun post to read!! i’ll make a confession and say that im a sucker for love triangles too 😭 the jealousy trope just hits different when the love triangle is written well. im sorry you’re not enjoying magnus chase as much as percy. pjo is definitely better but magnus has his charm too. im craving a pjo reread though. i miss percabeth so much.
