Summer Blogger Promo Tour: My Kpop Reading Playlist

When I’m reading, I sometimes enjoy having some music on in the background to set the mood. 🎵 The problem is that if I listen to English songs I end up singing the words, and I’ll become too distracted to read. Steph also agrees. 😉 My latest solution obsession is K-Pop music! 💕 Today, I’m listing 10 of my favorite songs from my reading, studying, and book blogging playlist. If you’re interested in my full playlist, you can check it out hereSummerBloggerPromoTour

1. Palette by IU

This song is so soft and peaceful. 🌙 It always gets me in a cozy mood where I want to snuggle under a blanket and read the night away. It’s also one of my favorite songs to listen to when I need to study for an exam.

2. I by Taeyeon

Taeyeon is definitely one of my favorite artists, and this was the song that made me fall in love with her music. 😍 It always gives me a little confidence boost, and the music video is sooo beautiful.

3. Some by Bolbbalgan4

Something about this song just feels very light and dainty. 🎀 At the same time, the melody is so peaceful and smooth. She has a very unique voice that I really enjoy listening.

4. Wonderland by Jessica

This song is a little more upbeat, but it gives such magical vibes. The music video makes me want to just pack up my bags and travel to a winter paradise. ❄️ Everything about it just screams wanderlust.

5. Hopefully Sky by Jeong Eun Ji

Hopefully Sky is a song made for the springtime. It inspires so much hope and blissful feelings. 🌸 The pink cherry blossoms in the music video are 100% my aesthetic, and I just love this song so much!

6. Talk Love by K.Will

If you’re familiar with K-Dramas or K-Pop, I will shamefully admit to you that I’ve never watched Descendants of the Sun. I watched a few minutes of the first episode but never actually finished it. 🙈 Still, I really love listening to this song early in the morning.

7. Don’t Wanna Cry by Seventeen

I actually started listening to this group because 17 is my lucky number. 😂 I’m so happy I did though because their dancing in the MV is so synchronized, and the song itself has such a nice beat and melody.

8. Fine by Taeyeon

She’s back! While her song “I” gives me a happy confidence boost, “Fine” gives more sad and sentimental vibes. ✨ Still, it’s one of my favorite songs of all time.

9. Stay With Me by Chanyeol & PUNCH

If you’re a K-Drama person, you probably watched or at least know Goblin. I wasn’t the biggest fan of the show itself, but I absolutely love the OSTs. 🎶 This one and “Beautiful” by Crush are my favorites.

10. Spring Day by BTS

The Bangtan boys are getting so popular! I love so many of their songs, but this one has to be my favorite. It gives such sentimental vibes. 🌟

Do you listen to anything while reading? Are you a fan of K-Pop? Let me know in the comments! 💕

  1. Amazing list. As a big kpop fan, I love i when I see my favorite songs on other people’s playlist.
And I completely agree with you on listening to Kpop in the background. With english music, I always end up focusing on the lyrics as opposed to what I’m doing.
Please check out my blog post on Top 10 kpop fav.

      1. IU, both songs of Taeyeon, Jessica, and Seventeen. Also, really happy with the Bolbbalgana4 recommendation. Their music is always to light and refreshing.
Check out my posts on Kpop when you have a chance. I’m always looking for new Kpop stuff to listen to. 🙂

  2. Literally half of your list is in my “favs” 😂 and I have the same problem as you with English songs! I usually don’t listen to music when reading but I listen to music for EVERYTHING else.
