Tag: The Unique Blogger Award

Whoooo!! It’s finally the weekend. 🙌 Today I’m answering the questions for the Unique Blogger Award. 🎉 Thank you so much to Brianna from Brianna the Bookworm for nominating me. 3a9e533a-541a-45ce-9c1b-526883e23acc

Rules

  • Display the award!
  • Thank the person who nominated you, and post a link to their blog on your blog.
  • Answer the questions they’ve written for you!
  • Nominate 8-13 bloggers and give them three questions in the spirit of sharing love and solidarity within our blogging family!

1. WHAT ARE THREE OF YOUR ALL TIME FAVORITE BOOKS?

This is such a difficult question! 😭 I’ve been reading soooo many wonderful books lately that I could go on forever and forever. I’m going to be a little sneaky with this answer and pick 3 books each from my two favorite genres: fantasy and contemporary!

The Last Olympian is the perfect conclusion to the PJO series. The Golden Lily features my favorite, Sydney Sage, who inspires me so much, and Empire of Storms is keeping me hyped for Kingdom of Ash!

Favorite Contemporary Books: 851929617838528

Of course, you know I just have to spread the contemporary book love. 😉 I read Just One Wish in high school and fell in love with it. The Unexpected Everything and Always Never Yours are more recent, but I love them all the same!

2. DO YOU PREFER E-BOOKS OR PHYSICAL COPIES?

Mwhaha! If you’ve been following me for a while, you would know that my obvious answer is e-books. I love reading on my Kindle and phone before bed, and e-books allow me to read of my side (which I know is definitely horrible for my eye-sight). 😅 I recently got the Kindle Paperwhite for myself for my birthday, so I’m super excited to have an excuse to read even more. 🎉 E-books are just so versatile and efficient! *shameless plug for my Why I love E-books post for more reasons*

3. IF YOU COULD MEET ONE AUTHOR, WHO WOULD YOU CHOOSE AND WHY?

If you asked me a year ago,http_modogeeks.comwp-contentuploads201607sarah-j-maas the answer would’ve been Rick Riordan because I would want so many answers about the PJO world. How are Percy and Annabeth (AKA Percabeth) doing? Are my babies okay??

Now, my answer is Sarah J Maas. I’ve seen a few of her author interviews on Youtube, and she has such a fun personality!

Nominating my lovely friends 💕:

Chloe from Book Dragons, Julia from Fable Hunter, Dezzy from The Thoughtful Voice, Vanessa from Through Prose Tinted Pages,  Cailin from Rose Petal Pages, Imo from Muggle Boooks, Stephanie from Holed Up In A Book, Tiffany from String of Pages, Rebecca from Bookishly Rebecca, Catherine from This Is One For The Books, Kristin from Kristin Kraves Books, Beatrice from Confessions of a Pinay Bookaholic

My Questions:

  1. What has been your latest bookish obsession?
  2. If you could transport yourself into any book, which one would it be?
  3. If you were the protagonist of a fantasy book, what would be your weapon of choice?

Do you prefer ebooks or physical books? Which author have you been dying to meet? LET ME KNOW IN THE COMMENTS! 💕

  1. Always Never Yours looks interesting! I should check them out! I’ve been wanting meet Jennifer Niven because she is SO humble and I really love her personality. Plus, she’s lovely! And oh, I prefer e-book because it’s easier for me to highlight and annotate but I will always love physical book 😆

  2. Ahh congratulations on the award, you awesome human being ❤ ❤ ❤ I loved reading your answers and I'm so happy to see two of my favorite contemporaries being your favorites, too! ❤ I haven't read Just One Wish, though…. it means I should check it out, right? I'm very curious about it now 😀

  3. Yaaaay thanks for doing the tag, Tiffany! liked how you picked favorites from two genres; that was a good idea because picking only 3 all time favorites is honestly difficult😅 Also, yesss to all this love for PJO! It’s so good💗

  4. Awww thank you so much for tagging me, Tiffany! It really means a lot. 💞 I loved reading your responses; I LOVE The Last Olympian; it’s one of my favorite books too! I also love The House of Hades from the HOO series. 😍 And ikr, picking just three favorite books is so hard; I literally have like ten favorite books that I can list off the top of my head. 😂

I honestly don’t have a preference for ebooks or physical books, haha; I love both! And I’ve been dying to meet Rick Riordan and Alice Oseman. They’re two of my favorite authors, and I’d LOVE to meet them someday.

    1. Aww of course Dezzy!! You’re such a loving spirit in this community ❤ The Last Olympian was just done SOOOO well!! I'm not sure if you read Blood of Olympus, but it definitely wasn't as great in comparison 😦 Ooo which books did Alice Oseman right?? Maybe I should check her out!

  5. I met SJM, I was stuttering Chaol all over and she and her husband was so sweet to my friend calling her cute for being nervous meeting her. She really has the bubbly personality. Hope you meet her soon. 💞

  6. *gasp* You prefer ebook over physical books? 😱 Well, I actually have to admit that ebooks are so much more convenient, especially while traveling. 😊 When I’m off camping or traveling during the summer for more than two months, I’ll usually take a few paperback copies with me, even though the weight should probably convince me otherwise. I just love the feel of flipping pages & writing in books too much to trade it off for ebooks!

Anyways, I enjoyed reading your answers to this award! 😋
