Monthly Wrap-Up: November 2018

Is it just me or did November fly by? 🙈 I feel like I just wrote my October wrap-up yesterday, so it’s crazy to think that the last month of the year is finally here!

IN REAL LIFE

November was a fairly restful month because I had fewer exams and got to fly home to Los Angeles for Thanksgiving Break. ✈ It was wonderful because I got to see my family and eat so much Asian food that I’d been missing. 🍴 I also got to support and watch my ballet studio’s annual performance. One of my closest and oldest friends in real life, Xandra, danced the role of Princess Aurora in Sleeping Beauty. Check out her vlog here!

Now, I’ve been preparing for ~final exams~. ✏ DUN DUN DUN! This upcoming week will be exceptionally difficult because I have 3 exams and 2 final reports, but I’ve been studying a lot so *fingers crossed*. Please send me all your good thoughts because I’m really hoping to do well!

ON BOOKS

I finished 9 books this month! I’m currently at 82/25 in my Goodreads challenge. 📚I’ve been listening to a lot of audiobooks as usually and rereading a couple books for fun, including The Dork Diaries series which I read in Middle School and the Bloodlines series which is one of my all-time favorite guilty pleasure reads. 🙆Screen Shot 2018-11-30 at 6.07.05 PM.pngI’m so happy with the books I read this month because I genuinely enjoyed each one. At first, I felt like I was cheating with my Goodreads challenge because a lot of these books were rereads, but then, I decided ~who cares~ I’m going to read what I feel like reading. 😉 I also discovered my first Kasie West book, and while it was super cheesy at times, I thought it was the perfect amount of fluffiness. 🌺

ON THE BLOG

I honestly didn’t feel like I was posting very often on my blog because 1. November was so firetrucking short and 2. I was only posting once a week. Still, I’m glad that I’m managed to remain active amidst the whirlwind that is university life. ✨ My lovely bookish friends have kept me happy~~ (That’s you!)

Good luck with finals! Mine are next week and I’m mini-freaking out. I’m also worried because I have such little motivation. And I can’t imagine it’s going to be in the spring because why do finals matter the last semester of your college career???? 😂😂😂

Definitely agree that Kaleena's post on templates deserves a spot in your list, haha. I already pimped it a bit to fit my own needs more but I absolutely LOVE it. Pretty sure it'll save me next year – or so I hope. 😛

    Again, good luck! ❤

      1. Haha, I added a tab with all my pre-2018 owned books to read so I can keep track of how many of my “old” books I read versus the new ones. 😀 That’s the main thing I changed – and also added to the general overview.

        You too! ❤
