Hello, friends! Today’s post is a little different, but things have been ~wild~ lately. I started online classes this Monday so things are getting busier, and with everything as hectic and anxiety-inducing as it is, I’ve been turning to music for relaxation and to help me get into a productive mindset. π΅
I shared a few of my favorite K-Pop songs for studying and reading a while ago, but I wanted to give an update with more recent favorites:

1. I’m OK by Crude Play
This song is the OST from the K-Drama The Liar and His Lover starring Joy from Red Velvet and Lee Hyun Woo. π It’s been one of my favorites for a while because of its melody and thoughtful lyrics. Crude Play isn’t a real band sadly, but their two songs released are my faves!

2. Smile Flower by Seventeen
I was actually introduced to this song by Laura, and I fell in love with it the second I heard it. π» Seventeen is definitely one of my favorite K-Pop boy bands (alongside BTS) so this is one of their many songs I love.

3. 11:11 by Taeyeon
Taeyeon has always been one of my favorite K-Pop artists, and I love listening to her songs. π 11:11 is one of her soft songs that I absolutely love, and it’s a great listen when you’re trying to unwind and relax.

4. Sunshine by GFriend
If I could only pick one K-Pop group to listen to for the rest of my life, it would easily be GFriend. βοΈ They’re super energetic and fun to watch in variety shows, and they’re such talented singers too. Sunshine is one of my favorite soft songs that they sing.

5. Lemon by Umji
If GFriend is my favorite K-Pop group, Umji is my bias. She has the sweetest, most angelic voice, and I absolutely love her cover of Lemon. π I wish she could record a studio version of this song, but regardless, I always find myself listening to this cover again and again.

Bonus: Le Festin by Stella Jang
If you’ve ever watched the Disney movie Ratatouille, you’ve probably heard the song Le Festin. Stella Jang is one of my recent favorite artists, and I love her cover of this song. π«π· She speaks 7 languages and spent 10 years in France!

I love 11:11 – Taeyeon is my go-to when I need some music therapy. This list is great, definitely going to be cycling through these in the next couple of days because life has been absolute crazy. Surprisingly, I’ve been listening to a lot of upbeat songs (I guess to keep my energy up) but one of my recent favorite slower ones has been I*ZONE’s Daydream. Good luck with your online classes!

Ooh I love this post! I’ve been getting into more slow pop/lo-fi style pop songs for relaxation when I’m not doing work. I’m definitely going to add some of these to my playlist π I love to put a good playlist on and work on my bullet journal or just doodle when I want to unwind. I also just started my week of online classes on Monday, which was also a bit hectic for me. I hope that the transition is going well for you!

I listen to quite a lot of kpop now but its usually boy groups, I recently discovered Timeless by NCT U, Universe by EXO which I love they’re relaxing songs. Also Aurora by Ateez I love but I love all Ateez songs (hihi I’m an atiny xD) This month though I’ve been listening to a lot of Monsta X and EXO somehow haha, and BTS songs as well keep playing on my youtube. Basically I listen to Ateez, EXO, Monsta X a lot and some TXT songs, some Stray Kids. I’m just lost to the Kpop hole haha
