Okay, this was truly the longest, most wild month ever. SO MUCH HAPPENED!! in the world, in the country, in my life?? Let’s discuss:

TIFFANY’S LIFE πΊ
In my last monthly wrap-up, I wrote that February was fairly calm. Whelp…the storm really hit us, didn’t it? March was a hectic ~mess~. π± I spent the longest time debating whether I should fly home to Los Angeles or stay at school for Spring Break, and eventually, I decided to cancel my flight and stay in St. Louis. Then, my school decided to switch to online learning, and I had 3 days to pack up and move home.

I baked way. too. much. during Spring Break. π°π¦ I made tiramisu and baked strawberry cheesecake. I attended an author signing and met Cassandra Clare!! I revamped my Instagram and hit 1,000 followers which was my yearly goal!! Last week, I started Zoom University with a full courseload with 11 classes (brb #crying #dying)

BOOKS I READ π
My university extended Spring Break by a week so I had a lot more time to read. This month, I read 13 books which puts me at 45 out of 100 for my Goodreads Reading Challenge. WHOOO!! π₯³

I reread two of my favorite series, The Infernal Devices trilogy and the Vampire Academy series. π I felt so so nostalgic for all of these characters that I adore, especially since I grew up reading these books. All in all, March was a fantastic month of reading!

I think we can all agree that March was a wild and most longest month there was. A lot of things happened and most of it wasn’t good-but seriously, CONGRATS on seeing Cassandra Clare though. I’d love to see her one day because I love her work, but I doubt she’d be coming to CO anytime soon especially in Denver.
I could still remember My Summer of Love and Fortune. That was a horrible book and still cringe whenever I see the title and remember the most terrible/hilarious time I had whilst reading it. I’m so glad you loved Chain of Gold. I still haven’t picked up my copy yet. Probably go reread The Infernal Devices and jump into Chain of Gold while doing online schooling.
I have 7 classes, and honestly last week killed me. 3 days, 7 classes and a little bit of cursing. I think I may have taken in-person school a hard time, because I’m not a huge fan of online schooling. I’m hoping this week and the weeks followed would be easier, but I doubt it.
Hope you’re being safe and cautious out there, Tiffany!

Ahh I hope you’ll be able to see her one day. Maybe she’ll come by somewhere closer, and I think she changes up her tour locations sometimes.
And LOLOL that was such an INTERESTING book. I’m glad that you also read it so we could share our similar thoughts!!I can’t wait fro you to read Chain of Gold too!! Rereading TID was a really good idea because I could appreciate references so much more too.
OOF 7 classes is serioulsy a lot. Hopefully, things will start to get better, and I hope that you’re also safe and healthy too. Sending love!! π

march really was the wildest month! my sister studies abroad and had the same dilemma as you about whether she should fly home or stay at school, and classes ended up being suspended for her. i hope you and your loved ones are safe and healthy π
it’s so cool that you got to meet one of your favorite authors in person. that’s still an unchecked item on my bucket list and i really hope i’ll be able to attend an author signing in the future. and congrats on hitting 1000 on instagram!
i hope you have a happy april! (and all the best with zoom university <3)

March was well…. March, it was hectic and scary. But I hope you are well and safe!! Picking up and moving in 3 days sounds very stressful!! And you still read so many books which is amazing!! I’m glad you loved your reread of The Infernal Devices as I would like to read that at some point !! (and you got to meet Cassandra Care, that is so cool!!) Ah.. Six of Crows, I’m always tempted to reread it but I said I would wait until the (kind of) third one came out but there is no date in sight so I should just reread it!!
Tiramisu is my actual favourite and I really want it after seeing your picture!! It looks delicious!!
Also huge congrats again on reaching 1000 followers on Instagram!! β€

I’m so sorry March was so hectic for you. I felt really bad for all the students, especially ones getting kicked off of residence. I hope you’re doing okay at home though! That’s amazing that you got to meet Cassandra Clare! I loved her original trilogy (before it was a 6 book series). I’ve also heard she’s an incredibly nice person.
Ummmm … why aren’t you sending me your baked goods?!?! THEY SOUND SO GOOD!
I hope you are doing okay with school (online) and everything else! Stay safe, darlin’! β€

She’s super nice! I felt so bad because the lines were like 2 hours long but she was still striking up conversation with everyone she met. and AHHH I wish I could send you my baked goods!!
Hope you’re staying safe too, and I’m sending ALL my love!! π

March was the longest year of my life, lmao. I am jealous of all your baking, I was out of baking powder and baking soda when all this happened so I am just le sad. But! I’ve been using my crockpot quite a bit for stews and stuff, which has been nice.
Congrats on 1,000 and I love your IG theme so much! Well done there, and with all the reading you accomplished! I wish you the best of luck with Zoom University and thanks for linking to my anniversary post! xoxo

This month has been a ROLLERCOASTER. And OH NO those are pretty important baking ingredients, but I think you’ll be able to find several recipes without them too!
and OOO stews sound actually so amazing. Los Angeles has been super rainy the past week. Missed you lots, Kal and I hope you have a fantastic April!!

I WAS VICTORIOUS YESTERDAY! I went to Trader Joe’s and was able to get everything I needed except toilet paper and baking powder… which isn’t as necessary for things! I got the last box of banana bread mix and I may bake scones.
It’s been raining a lot in San Diego, too! We have a flash flood warning because the SD river overflows and drainage here sucks. Stews are perfect for this weather! I missed you too, darling xoxo

I find it so funny when people say Zoom University, because it’s definitely what it feels like. Woah, 11 classes? What are you studying? I have three classes and my internship (that counted for two classes and that I just recently finished) and only one of my teachers was actually giving class via Zoom. Now it’s mandatory for all teachers to give class, and not just randomly assign homework to submit. I’m curious to see how this will turn out!
Your recipes always turn out so well and everything looks delicious! π Since I’m home I’ve been wanting to try and start baking buuuut I’m either busy or my mother’s in the kitchen (and I’d prefer to be alone, tbh). I’m still waiting for the perfect opportunity (and probably burn the house hahaha).
I just recently read Anna K and really, really enjoyed it! I’m just sad I couldn’t get it in time for the book club (and I keep getting behind, sadly…). I just ordered Chain of Gold too, so I’m also excited to get to that!
And thank you so, so much for featuring my post! β€ I hope you have a great April π

LOLOL that’s definitely what it’s like π I’m studying finance & accounting but I’m in a dual program to also get a Master’s so I have to take more classes than normal πGood luck with all your classes!!
And ahhh I totally understand you!! I normally bake a lot in my college apartment, but I haven’t really been back at home with my family. π
and don’t worry!! I’d love for you to join anytime. You can always comment on things later (no such thing as too late). I’m just really happy that you gave the book a try and are excited about it π₯°
and ahhh!! I can’t wait to hear your thoughts on Chain of Gold, and I hope you have a fantastic April too π

I wish numbers and I had a better relationship. I wanna take a Master’s in International Business BUT in the small chance that I get in, I’ll have to take some courses on finance, etc and I’m scared because I never had anything similar. )):
Are you taking more courses per semester so that you can finish earlier tho? Or is it totally unrelated?
I’m now reading Queen of Air and Darkness! One step closer to Chain of Gold eheh
