Hello, friends!! ✏️ If you follow me on Instagram or Twitter, you’ve likely already heard the news, but I’m super excited to announce a new passion project that I’ve been working on with Breana from Milky Boos and Alexandra from Twirling Pages.
Meet Written Connections: a pen pal project designed to bring people around the world together. 💌 This idea originated as a late-night inspiration to support the United States Postal Service through buying stamps and utilizing its service. At the same time, it’s also a fun way to meet new friends and channel your inner Lara Jean Song Covey!
In the words of Breana:
“For all the soft hearts that wished the world moved a little slower: a penpal project to connect people around the world with letters full of love.”
Throughout the month of May, participants will send 3 letters around the prompts: community, creativity, and adventure. ✨ We’ll also be sharing optional writing prompts to guide the conversation. We hope you’re interested in getting a pen pal and making new friends, and hopefully, it’ll be a fun way to find connections, friendship, and positivity during these trying times!

This really is the most wonderful idea and thank you to the three of you who have put so much effort into the project! I’m super excited but also ~lowkey~ anxious about not connecting with my penpal, or having zero inspo to write, but everything will be fine, I’m sure. I hope the project will go smoothly for you too organizing it! ❤
